April 30th

I am grateful for a job that gets dirt under my nails, because it reminds me of doing work around the house in Oregon.
I am grateful for pebbles, because they remind me that when I give my seemingly big problems to the Lord, he throws them down among other pebbles to remind me that they are small in the grander scheme of things.
I am grateful for the two freckles on my left wrist, because since I was a kid I thought they made my hand look like a squid :D I'm easily entertained, okay!?

April 29th

I am grateful for lacrimal (tear) ducts, because without them I'd be "crying" all the time, like a crocodile!
I am grateful for my G-Shock watch, because it keeps me knowing the time (of course) and is practically indestructible...essentially Paulproof
I am grateful that our nightstands are collapsible, because it makes them SO much cheaper, as well as easier to move
I am Grateful for...

  • Paper towels, because they are so useful for cleaning up messes and tickling your loved ones' ears/noses :D
  • My ability to touch type, because I could not type in the the dark or nearly as fast if God had not blessed me to learn this skill
  • and the fact that my wife's hair changes from brown to red to gold at different times, because it reflects her attitude, and is beautiful
  • The shades black and white, they remind me of opposition, and they fit so nicely together
  • My Mother's smile, because it has made me smile and feel happy from the first time I saw it
  • Thermostats; It is so wonderful to tell a machine what temperature you want, and have it stay around that temperature!
  • The smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls, because it is relaxing and warming.
  • Mormon, it must have been very hard to transcribe what he did while running from the Lamanites and witnessing the destruction of his own people
  • H20, because I wouldn't survive or enjoy life without it
  • Our bed, because it is so very comfortable, and is not too big
  • Our oven clock, because now we can tell while in the living room what time it is (our last apartment did not have this luxury)
  • The book "Jesus the Christ" by Elder James E. Talmage, because it taught me a great deal about the Savior and His atonement
april 17th
  • My nose, because I would not be able to smell or taste things very well without it

  • My cell phone charger; I've been without it, and I can't stay in touch without it
April 21st

  • I am grateful for the new opportunity to meet people here in the 75th ward, because it pushes me to be more social, and once again shows me that wherever you go, there you have brothers, sisters, and great friends; all you need to do is to be a good friend yourself, and wherever you are, your unknown friends will find you
  • I am grateful for this tapestry that my wife has gessoed hanging on the wall, because it reminds me of the constant need for creativity and excitement that must exist to live a full life, and how grateful I am to have married someone so wonderfully creative
April 25th
  • I am grateful that my wife and I can laugh at each-others' ridiculousness, because we are both ridiculous sometimes, and it helps lighten the spirit of our home, bing us closer together, and help us have fun
  • I am grateful that God is demonstrating to me that He is answering my prayers to give me a more grateful heart, because it builds my testimony of prayer and of the power of the atonement
  • I am grateful for the freedom I have to worship God in the way that I please, because without this freedom I would be doomed to "dwindle in unbelief" as the Lamanites, or to suffer death for my beliefs, rather than living to proclaim and teach them
